Introduction to...Madolches monster

As you can read in the previous post I falled in love with madolches, they have a lot of potential, and I think they will be supported more in the next pack. With 5 builds of madolces I have, I decided to write this post as an introduction to them and then post in the next posts the finished or still testing/developing build and explain them.
Let's see how madolches are made and how they work.

All of the madolches, except for mille-feuille are based off a sweet (dolce in italian ,that's why their original name was madolce, where ma means but/thought, or from madou, japanese for magical) and a royality. On wikia's page for madolches you can see a table with rayality and sweet for any madolche. All of the madolche have an effect in common: when destroyed (no matter how) from your opponent, the go back in the deck. Pretty fuckin' good effect.
Now let's start with single cards.

My favourite one: Majoleine. Basically a Stratos for madolces, but it works only when normal or flip summoned. Always played in 3x, if you have some doubt for it. It works pretty good in offering build, I'm just waiting for the release of alchemic magician on DN to finish it, but i'll explain it better in a post dedicated to that build.
Majo is immune to bottomless (very good for ocg meta, then), and can be boosted with chateau till 1900. She's spellcaster, I'll explain later why this is so good. She works well with birdman, too.

Butlerusk, second favourite card. Basically a terraforming on legs: when normal summoned with another majoleine madolche on the field (majoleine is the most probable thought) you can add a field spell from the deck to the hand. Pretty simple and good. First moment I saw a Madolche I thought "what a beautiful artwork", second time, when I read their effect, I thought "they're pretty good and can recycle well", then, the third time i read butlerusk's effect and thought "--------- (censured, you'll read this later), he's spellcaster (maybe you got it now)". Works perfectly in the offering build, but sadly he's bottomless-able.

Chouxvalier, not awesome, not shit card, not even good, he is playable. 1700 ATK, respectable, and 2200 with chateau, he let all of your other madolche monster to dodge attacks as he become the only attack-able monster with his effect. Sadly no shield with 2 chouxvalier, it won't work because his effect says clearly "your opponent can't attack madolches monster except for madolche chouxvalier". Warrior, means that with mind control or antoher chouxvalier you can go in blade armor, I used it as a game finisher sometime.

MIlle-feuille, good card for bring puddingcess from your hand with no tributes and then with no monsters in your grave, or with mouple to xyz, but if you're playing this, it means that you are playing pudding, and if you're playing pudding, you don't want to xyz. For other monster, it is crap, because both butlerusk and majo have their effect activated when NORMAL summoned, and chouxvalier get no expecially good effect, except for letting mille dodge opponent's attack. I play it only because in a pure madolche build with pudding he is needed to summon her, but when building a lot of time i prefer not playing Pudding.

Mouple is the new monster that we all expected to be great, but it's not. meh effect, prevent's an opponent monster from attacking by moving it in defense position till the end of the opponent turn, so this works only if that monster is on the field on your turn. After this it has a good defense, so it is a good wall. Nothing else to do here.

We've finished with the monster, I expect you'll read the next post, it will be for spell and traps.
See ya
